    1. Thanks Pauline for your comment. I love them too, and we are lucky to hve quite a few come into our yard and our bird baths. We have a native bush garden and the birds love it.

  4. What beautiful and colorful birds. We miss our bird feeders. We've thought about putting one up here, but we have such a small area we don't want them quite that close to us. I might check with my cousin to see if we could put one across the road. We would be able to enjoy them when we are outside and they wouldn't be so close. We will put up a hummingbird feeder though.

  5. Cheri - a bird feeder across the road might be a good idea and I'm sure the birds would think so. I don't like birds too close either, but I am getting more comfortable with them nearer than I used to be. I still don't think I could walk into an aviary though! I do like to watch the birds from inside the house or on the veranda.
