My World Tuesday July 13th 2020

Another week has gone by and not many photo opportunities so I have searched my photos and 2011 was a very good winter for a holiday.

2011 - We are on the road to Halls Gap, Victoria for a few days with friends and family.

On the road to Victoria in 2011 - who would have thought that in 2020 we would not be allowed to travel across the border to Victoria - unbelievable!

A quick stop in Bordertown

We meet up - time for a chat and catch up at the caravan park in Halls Gap

    1. Thanks, we are looking forward to travelling again but it will be a while I think as Halls Gap is in Victoria and we cannot cross the border.

    1. Rick, we do have a lot to see here, but cannot travel out of our State at the moment, and it is a bit cold here now in the south.

    1. Margaret, I hope you get to Halls Gap one of these days as it is really lovely. That trip was a long time ago now so our grandchildren are all teenagers now.

    1. Rita, who would have thought that we would not be able to travel in our own country, but things are very different now and some of our State borders are closed. The birds were always coming down for food which we could buy from the caravan park.

  6. Hi Rosie, THANKS for your visit and comment on my blog; it was much appreciated. Yes, it really is a downer that borders are closed in so many places worldwide due to the corona virus outbreak. Like yourself I have been revisiting places we've visited on road trips the past several years as I sort thru them on CDs and backup to external hard drives. It was great seeing your family members and those birds are amazing!

    1. Beatrice, thanks for your comments. We are lucky that we have travelled a lot in the past so we have lots of memories and the digital photos are great to look back on now that we are not going anywhere.

  10. What a great place to enjoy the outdoors. And what a treat for the children with the wildlife all around. We hope to get out camping this fall, but it depends on the Covid numbers. Our state is the third highest in the WORLD for covid cases per capital and others aren’t much better.
