On the Cape Le Grande road

Frenchman's Peak is a massive Granite outcrop

We didn't climb up to the cave but zoomed in on this one

Frenchman's Peak was seen from quite a distance and the name comes from the shape of the hats of French troops in the 1800's

Hellfire Bay

Hellfire  Bay had a good walkway down to the beach

Our next stop was at Lucky Bay and we were very lucky there as there was a Coffee Van right on the beach -very Lucky for us!

Coffee on the beach - perfect!

The colours were stunning

And then another surprise as we walked along the beach - kangaroos having a fish lunch!

Our next stop was Thistle Cove, another beautiful beach and Whistling Rock. We stood under it and there was a slight whistling sound.

And more wildflowers along the way.

    1. Margaret- apparently there are often more than one roo there, but it was great to get so close and surprising to see him eating fish too.

  2. Simply glorious.
I had no idea that roos would ever enjoy a fishy diet.
Love the wildflowers - including the one sitting at the bench.
