The lightstation is situated on a point of land projecting from Ben Boyd National Park. It is the southernmost lighthouse in New South Wales.
We based ourselves in Eden, the most southerly town in New South Wales, and approximately 1,300 km from our home in Adelaide.

The Seahorse Inn Hotel is a Heritage listed facility. This building was originally built by Benjamin Boyd in the 1800's as a land based property developer. The building was the beginning of his failed venture to make Boydtown the capital of Australia
