Hopetoun
We left the Bathers Paradise caravan park about 9 am via the South Coast Highway. This road took us through farming country with mainly crops and cattle. Our first stop was Hopetoun where we stopped in a nice roadside area overlooking the coast and had our lunch enjoying the views.

We drove around Hopetoun and decided to stay as the weather was getting very windy. As we drove around we noticed quite a few caravans parked on the roadside with a sign saying the road to Mason Bay was closed and the vans were all parking there for the night so we decided it would be best to stay overnight with the group of vans. As it was only mid-afternoon, we were happy to sit and read for a while and I had a nanna nap too as the van was nice and cosy with some sun coming in through the bedroom window and the sound of birds made for a nice nap!

ReplyDeleteNaps are good. I never discovered naps until I got fibro--lol! Before that I never slowed down long enough. :)
That giant tea set is so funny! :)
I used to be "a tornado" as my family described me, but now I have rheumatoid arthritis and osteo arthritis and I am now a "napper" after only doing small things around the house. How life changes so quickly. I think I wore myself out in my younger years!
