Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.
Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.
The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life. Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks), and I have accepted the mantle.
The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me (Elephant's Child).

ReplyDeleteWe stayed at Mannum a few years back by the River in the caravan park.
I think the Mannum caravan park is one of the best in SA and we stayed there many times before our son built his home in Mannm.
DeleteWhat a totally delightful Sunday Selections. Thank you for joining us again.
ReplyDeleteYou are sooooo right about the difficulties of capturing the Eastern Spinebill. We have a pair who visit regularly - and flit off when I appear with a camera.
I didn't realise we had a 'big' Rocking Horse. So many big things...
I have tried so many times to photograph that little bird and it only appears in our garden in autumn, and we haven't seen it in the last few days so must have another home somewhere. The Rocking Horse is big and you can climb up the top, I did once with the grandchildren a few years back. They also have a nature park where you can feed some native animals and the kangaroos roam around. There is also a toy shop where hand made wooden toys are made and sold, the children love going there.
