Cruise to NZ - Cruising

Views of our ship, The Majestic Princess

Our cruise docked in Sydney after 13 nights on our cruise to New Zealand.  We had a great trip and would go again but we have been on 2 cruises to NZ so think we should broaden our travel horizons.  Who knows where we might end up ?
Here are some photos of our ship, both from on board and from the shore at various ports.

It is a huge ship but we always felt it was not overcrowded, although we did enjoy having our balcony cabin and probably spent more time there than anywhere else.  We went to the International Cafe every morning and afternoon for a cup or two of very good coffee and we were entertained in that area by a quartet of classical musicians on some days and other days we enjoyed watching line dancing or some other group activity which we didn't participate in but enjoyed watching others.

Most evenings we had dinner in the Anytime Dining Room and afterwards we watched the entertainment in the Theatre, and we loved every show we saw there although it was sometimes difficult to get a seat together.  We also spent our sea days going to the occasional "talk" by experts on the environment of the area we were going to, as well as relaxing in our room or on our balcony  watching the world go by.

Now we will enjoy some time at home, and might just have to look through the brochures for another cruise!!

  1. It certainly is a lovely ship. Love the first photo. Have never been on a cruise ship and won't now. It's pleasing to know you both enjoyed both cruises to NZ.
    Merry Christmas..

  2. Looks like you had a lovely time. I would want a balcony to escape to on such a big ship though we haven't done a cruise yet. I am glad to hear you weren't caught up in the recent volcano tragedy in NZ. Happy travels and thank you for visiting my blog this week.
