Mosaic Monday

A few photos from our trip to Canada in 2007.

Ahh the memories!!

In 2007 we travelled to Canada to attend my cousin's wedding and spent a few weeks travelling and visiting  some other family members.

The Takkakaw Falls were spectacular and so much larger than falls we had seen in Australia, and I can remember the breathtaking view as we rounded the corner and saw the falls for the first time.

The Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge in Golden was beautiful.  The bridge spans the Kicking Horse River and is the longest freestanding timber frame bridge in Canada.

RCMP display at Fort MacLeod
Another highlight of the trip was visiting Fort MacLeod and the RCMP display there. There were many more amazing places, one of them was the World Heritage Site in Alberta, 18 km from Fort MacLeod, located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and home of the museum of Blackfoot culture.

Rosie - British Columbia is a stunning part of the world. We traveled there with my Mom and my oldest sister a couple of summers ago, and it was a trip I will never forget. Thanks for sharing your memories and photos with everyone at Mosaic Monday!
