The old Blacksmith Shop

We looked around the Old Blacksmith Shop where the volunteer Blacksmith was demonstrating his skills.

I never realised these were made here for the War Memorial in France

If these walls could talk

We drove around the towns of the Valley and discovered some interesting old vehicles, or Garden Art, as they are sometimes known.

A large collection of old and not so old cars in a paddock

A great sculpture - may be to scare off other birds!

  2. Me gusan especialmente las imágens de la puesta de sol, por sus maravillosos tonos.

En España estamos en primavera, en un tiempo en que la Naturaleza nos brinda las más bellas flores.

  3. Love the old vehicles and metal sculpture. There's an old homestead where we ride our quads. There is a large field on the property filled with old vehicles. The interesting thing is that there isn't a road leading to the property. They must have arrived by barge to use the local logging roads. - Margy

    1. Yes it is interesting to imagine how the cars get here, although there was a road in but we didn't want to go into the property. It appeared that the cars were not for sale but were a collection. We often see these large collections in country areas, not sure why people have them but I suppose it's because they can. Thanks for your comments.

  4. Amazing those last two photos.
Nice in the Valley, lovely photos and all towns seem to have an old car yard as you would know travelling around.
Autumn colours and a sunset, brilliant colours.

    1. The Barossa area is very pretty especially in Autumn. The sculpture didn't have any explanation but I thought it was great and so colourful too. Yes, we always find old cars and some large collections. My husband likes the rusty stuff!

  5. I don't think we went through here during our visit to SA a few years back. Looks like a great place to visit. Happy travels and thank you for stopping by my blog last week. I didn't get back to you because we were off travelling!
