Out West Day 6

Day 6

We left our overnight stay at Cohen and were on the road by about 9 am.  It was sunny with a few clouds so a good day for driving.  The roadside scenery was mainly mallee and salt bush and some crops in between.

We stopped for a coffee at the Head of the Bight but as it wasn't the whale season here we didn't see any whales but the coffee was good.

 fuel at Nullabor
We stopped at Nullabor for fuel and had a browse around before heading off again.  There are a few old buildings which we found interesting.

The weather started to get overcast  and we even had some spots of rain so we headed off again looking for another overnight stop just in case the rain got worse as we didn't want to have to "up sticks" because of the weather along the Nullabor.

There were several places designated for viewing the Bunda Cliffs so we stopped and walked to the viewing area.  It is quite dangerous near the cliff edge.

  1. That was one rusted solid cash register--lol! Those cliffs do look dangerous--but beautiful. Hope you have a great weekend! :)
