Last weekend we had a lovely drive through the Adelaide hills with friends in our car club to Yankalilla, a small town on the Fleurieur Peninsula, about 74 km from Adelaide. We had lunch at the Yankalilla Hotel and then drove back home through Normanville, a small town on the coast about an hour from Adelaide.Yankalilla was settled in 1842 and the District Council of Yankalilla was established in 1854.

The Gorge Mill was built in 1856 by William Fergusson and is now Heritage listed.
After lunch we all went our separate ways, and we decided to go home through Normanville which is a lovely coastal town where we have stayed in our caravan quite a few years ago, so it was great to see some changes there.
