My Corner of the World

My Corner of the World

Blyth Cinema, South Australia
The population of Blyth, in the mid north of South Australia, has a population of 518 in 2016, and is 121km from Adelaide.  The Blyth Cinema was established by the local community in 2005.  The cinema seats 112 and is a wonderful attraction for the small town.  We spent the weekend in Clare, only about 40 km from Blyth, and enjoyed two great movies.  Our car club organised the trip and the local community supplied a great lunch for us and our club were able to choose which movies we would see and the Cinema were able to provide what we requested as well as a few little extras of popcorn and lollies.  We had a great weekend and will be doing it again.

That sounds like it was a fun, pleasant time. Love that last shot!

Rose, thanks for your comment. The canola was so pretty and there were many paddocks of it too, but I couldn't stop to get many photos as we were travelling in a convoy of Jags!
