Sunday Selections #341 - A Drive in the Country

I am  posting my Sunday Selections thanks to Drifting Through Life.

Today we went on a drive with our Car Club and finished the day with lunch at Murray Bridge.  I won't add much in the way of explanation as I think the photos tell the story.  I don't have a lot of photos as it was really about driving our cars so most were taken through the windscreen.  Hope you enjoy them.

We set off through the Adelaide Hills

Out & About

Sunday here in Adelaide was like a beautiful Spring day so we decided to have a day out in the city as Government House was open to the public for the SALA festival.  We drove around for quite some time trying to find a park and eventually we got one not too far to walk and amazingly the fee was onl $2 for 3 hours - happy with that!  Here are the photos I took on the walk to Government House and a few in the garden there.  I must admit that this is the first time I have ever been to Government House.

Sunday Selections #340

Drifting Through Life has been posting "Sunday Selectons" and I have decided to join in.
The rules are simple - post photos under "Sunday Selections" and link back to River at Drifting Through Life.
My photos are from an afternoon drive near where we live but haven't been there for a while.  We live in the outer suburbs of Adelaide.  The photos were taken on a wet afternoon on a few of the back roads.
I hope you enjoy the photos and would love you to make a comment.

BALTIC CRUISE - Stockholm, Sweden

Day 10 of our Baltic Cruise and we arrived  at 7 am in Stockholm, and a departure at 2 pm, so not long in this beauiful city.  We opted for the Hop On Hop Off water bus this time and were so pleased as it was a lovely way to get into the city.  You would think we would not have wanted another trip on the water but it was better than queuing up for the bus.  We took a lot of photos, as usual, but from the water it was different to the other places which we often had to photograph from a bus window.

After breakfast we headed off for a walk around Stockholm.  What a beautiful city, and from the Gamla Stan, the Old Town, to the new part, we were completely enthralled by its beauty. On leaving the waterfront we headed off and had no idea where would end up, but we had heard that the Gamla Stan area was well worth a visit.
