Uluru In 2006 we travelled to the Northern Territory in our caravan.  This was the first trip we did in our Jayco Westport caravan, which was new to us, and our second caravan, and we enjoyed the extra room in it and also the combined shower/toilet which made travelling much more comfortable.  I can't tell you how much better it is to have our own shower/toilet and never again want to use the public ones in caravan parks no matter how clean they might be.  If you have ever had to use the caravan park facilities in the middle of a very wet and windy night you will know what I mean. We arrived at Uluru and on the first night there was a huge storm and we had to get up in the middle sof the night to check outside the van as it had sunk down in the mud and moved slightly.  There was not much we could do while it was pouring down, so we waited till the morning and Ron had to reposition the van and then we had to dry ourselves and our clothes and shoes, but many of those in the
