Glen Ewin Hill Climb Revival We had a day out yesterday celebrating Australia Day at Glen Ewin Estate and enjoyed food, wine and cars. Hope you enjoy looking at my Mosaic Monday.

Australia Day https://myjustsostory.blogspot.com/2020/01/sunday-selections-465.html We drove to a local restaurant/winery only a few kms from home where they were having a  special display of cars.   The day was dedicated to a hill climb which was held many years ago and one of the sporting car clubs was hosting the day with displays of cars and photos of the event going back to 1948.   Another reason to visit was the food and wine which was also enjoyable and the weather was perfect for it too. Glen Ewin Estate Glen Ewin Estate was established in 1843.  It was known for its large quantity of jams made under direction of horticulturalist George McEwin. The Wauchope family bought the property in 1991 and have since built the heritage listed property up to be the beautiful Wedding venue and tourist destination it is today. We love this property and return here when they have special events and also because our daughter's wedding was here so it holds very speci

Sunday Selections  was originally brought to us by  Kim,  of  Frogpondsrock,  as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files. The meme was then continued by River at  Drifting through life .  Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks), and I have accepted the mantle (Elephant's Child) Photos of Port Adelaide New(ish) Apartments at Port Adelaide wharf area Birkenhead Tavern  We had breakfast here at The Birkenhead Tavern this morning.  It serves a very good breakfast and its always enjoyable with great views.  After breakfast we walked around the wharf area of Port Adelaide.  Hope you enjoy my random photos.
